OUR TOP RETURNING RECEIVERS IN THE 806 ARE READY TO DO SOME DAMAGE IN 2017..

Just think about all the explosive receivers we lost last season; from Chance Fair, to Noah Sifrit, to Kailan Noseff-Waits.. Will this year’s class live up to the 2016 class? Honestly, I think so. There are some explosive players returning along with some new faces that should have some breakout seasons for their respective teams this fall. Out of the many receivers in the 806, here are our top ten receivers returning to action in 2017.

#1 DARRELL FIELDS- WR/TE, PAMPA HARVESTERS:

Darrell will be a dangerous cover for any cornerback trying to check him..

He is a hybrid receiver/tight end..and that’s why he has four Division One offers already as he heads into his Senior season for Pampa. His 1,000 yards and ten touchdowns last year will be vastly improved upon this fall as he comes in as Brandon Steward’s main target in their Air Raid offense. Darrell is in line for a special season.

#2 BLAIR CONWRIGHT- CORONADO MUSTANGS

Blair works harder than anyone I’ve seen in a while..

Blair had an incredible season as the third receiver for Coronado last season with 42 receptions for 754 yards and six touchdowns as a Sophomore! This season, he will be the first read for Qua Gray and the Mustangs. Expect Conwright to have over 1,000 yards receiving and at least 13 touchdowns if he stays healthy. The scary thing here..I might not be giving him enough stats… He’s special.

#3 ZYKETH CAMPBELL- LUBBOCK-COOPER PIRATES

ZYKETH WILL GO OUT WITH A BANG IN HIS SENIOR SEASON..

Zyketh had 750 yards and 10 touchdown receptions last year for the Pirates and this fall should be no different, if their quarterback play is like it was last season under now Bowling Green Quarterback, Jarret Doege. He is a leader, and will be counted on for the #piratenation for explosive blocks and plays during the season.

#4. CAMDYN CARAVELLI- FRENSHIP TIGERS

Camdyn Caravelli should have another great year for the Tigers

Camdyn looked great in spring practice and Frenship’s first-ever spring game. His 613 receiving yards and four touchdowns should go up as their new offense will pass significantly more for Coach Northcutt and #FrenshipNation. Expect a huge year for CAM….

#5 DEVIN MORRISON-CORONADO MUSTANGS

Devin Should also step up for Coronado and have a great season

Devin is a beast. He has the tools to really excel, and with a little attention to detail, he will get offered as a wide receiver for someone’s DII program, maybe even DI. I have been following him all summer and he has impressed; from the next level athlete camp, to Spring Ball. Devin will have a fabulous season for the #CU!

#6 ZACH ESTRADA- LEVELLAND LOBOS

Zach had 82 receptions for 1,261 yards and 15 touchdowns for Levelland’s record-setting offense last season. He should be geared up and ready for another big season..

#7 XAVIER WHITE- MONTEREY PLAINSMEN

#8 CLIFFORD BYRD JR.- MEMPHIS CYCLONES

#9 KEYSHAWN HORN- PLAINVIEW BULLDOGS

#10 BRANDON WHITE- TASCOSA REBELS

** Trey Manahan could’ve been here in the top five, but I look at him as a super utility player for the Monterey Plainsmen. He can do it all.
